• His Pedigree

  It is understandable, by any measure, that anyone who would come upon the story of one Thomas Glass might be curious of his origin. Perhaps in learning of his pedigree, we may attain some insight on the mystery that surrounds his name. If you've taken the initiative to obtain these passages, then you've done well enough to learn of the furre and his nature.
  

  The following notes are kept on record presently in the British Center of Investigative Measures.

  
  Thomas Sebastian Glass was born in London on the 6th of April, 1854 to a Samantha Lovelace Glass and Arthur Campbell Glass. Both being anthropomorphic felines. His father was a relatively lesser operative for the British Center of Investigative Measures who stood as the second heir to his brother's estate. Thomas was raised mostly by his loving mother, Samantha, due to his father's investments in the Afghan war, which was coming to an end in the middle east. Due to his father's frequent and regular absence, Thomas looked to his uncle as a father figure.
  
  Thomas and his mother lived with his uncle at the Eastern Caenbrook estate for most of his childhood. Within the eighteen years he was raised here, he was taken on two leaves to take holiday abroad, visiting distant locales. His young education was overseen by a Hindi scholar, and former Marquise of the British Raj; Doctor Gopal Banerjee. Thomas had a very diverse upbringing that lent to an eclectic world view in adulthood. He is often described by his colleagues of maintaining a cool air abreast subjects that others would find distasteful.
  
  There is little mention of Thomas' relationship with either parents. Though it can be derived from a journal that he kept for a very brief time that his mother was having an affair with his uncle, and that he was relatively unbothered by their relationship. "I have come to expect as much from my mother. She finds in him the comfort that my father cannot provide abreadth such distance. I've come to see him as my father, and my father as a stranger of whom I am somehow grateful." He later describes how he came to find his mother was having such relations in graphic detail, revealing that they had shared a bed together and that his father likely knew.
  
  It wasn't until June of 1870 that Thomas would face the defining moment of his life, as it would be known later. He had just returned from a horse ride on his uncle's estate, and had been tying up the horse. Thomas later explained that he was somehow antagonizing the horse, but he could not recall how. Upon doing so, the beast kicked him in the skull. The report says that Thomas fell to the ground and couldn't see properly, as he struggled to gain his bearings he looked to a spattered patch of blood on the ground and found a single cat's eye staring up at him. Out of panic, he placed his finger on the inside of his eye socket and promptly fell unconscious.
  
  A medical report is provided, stating that Thomas' had suffered a concussion, and that he should have died from such a blow. He stayed unconscious for nearly a week before coming out of this sleep. In this time, the doctors had done well to replace his left eye with a optical prosthetic made of glass. Having the last name glass would prove to simply be an unfortunate coincidence. "It is proof uninhibited that my name should be as comical as this damnable eye."
  
  Upon waking up, Thomas was met with equally terrible news. When the accident had happened, his uncle and the ward of the hospice sent his father a letter describing the turn of events. The letter was met in return with a message from the British Infantry Forces. Weeks ago, Thomas Father died in service. He was shot in the chest with a small caliber projectile, which ruptured his heart and killed him within minutes. Thomas took the news with a bitter sense of acceptance. He never really knew his father, but he would come to be grateful of his relatively small inheritance. Arthur Glass did not have much to give his son in the way of monetary wealth, but instead in a small fund along with a single book that was kept in the Civil Archives of London, inside a lockbox.
  
  The troubling aspects of the book in question are a part of a mystery that has baffled paranormal investigators for quite some time. The only context of the book's description are found in the account of one Johnathon Sende's, a gentleman who was the key holder for the Civil Archives of London. He writes the following to his warden that next morning.
  
  "I feel that I should tell you about the strange mishap that occurred late, last night. Albert and I were in the annex, alone last night, when a young tom and his ward came into the foyer. I thought nothing of it, save for the odd appearance of such a young furre. He was a pale, shear color and most troubling was that he was missing his left eye. His Warden, who claimed to be his uncle, gave me the promissory note that I should open lockbox 7B. I'd been told on several occasions, never to venture down that aisle, what with the rumors of disappearances and such. When I opened the lockbox, there was nothing in there but a book wrapped in paper. I only know it was a book because the young man began tearing it open in the foyer.
  The only reason I make any note of it at all is that I don't feel safe, now. I feel like I had to release myself of some burden, because last night I didn't sleep a wink! Honest! Sir, I'll have you know that I got only a glimpse of that book, but I can describe it entirely! It was a large tome, as thick as my wrist and bound in a pale sort've patchwork. Albert says it was some sort've spellbook. Surely we don't keep things like that here. Do we?"
  
  Jonathon was relieved of his post at the Civil Archives of London shortly after this incident. He was given a position in the Archive's courtyard, where he could get a bit more air. The book was one of the few possessions granted to him by his father's death, and it is never noted again in the files regarding Thomas Glass. But it is without a doubt that the book had some effect on him.
  
  Recent reports of Thomas give us an exact portrait of the young cat, and to those few who have been concerned with his followings, photographs are not uncommon. He is a completely white anthropomorphic cat of gentle pedigree, standing at 1.76 meters tall and weighing about 61 Kilograms. He is most notably distinguished by having a glass optical prosthetic in his left eye. He has white hair on his head which reports claim is a bit unruly and barely kept. His solitary eye is is an incandescent green. There are two accounts of him having a sort've dermagraphic alteration on his left hand. A "Tattoo" of a closed "Eye of Providence" on the back of his left hand. It is said that he is trying to rekindle the ires of an old Secret Order. Such would be the business of a man with a secretive past.
  
  It is odd to acknowledge that we have so much information regarding a single man, yet he somehow is surrounded by so much mystery. One could say that his social enigma is a shield against those who would do him an his cause harm. it is a sophisticated thought that anyone should learn more about Thomas Glass than what has been stated here, as only by meeting him face to face could you ever understand the mystery that surrounds his works.
